RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO) --Youth & Family Services in Rapid City will host its 8th annual Harvest Festival event this Saturday.
The free, family-friendly event will provide fun activities, educational pieces on nutrition and more.
Hundreds of families stop by every year to learn more about nutrition and how to be healthy.
"Oh it's extremely important and that was our focus. That this would be an event that focuses on wellness, focuses on gardening, sustainability, recycling, and saving our environment. So it's all about a healthy living, a healthy fun also at the Harvest Festival," YFS Nutrition Services Director Darcie Decker said.
Kids will be able to take on a scavenger hunt, finding new foods along the way.
Not only does Youth & Family Services aim to have every event family-friend
