Oklahoma linebacker Kobie McKinzie is excited for what’s shaping up to be one of the most anticipated games of the 2025 season. After a strong Week 1 performance, McKinzie says the Sooners are focused on cleaning up communication mistakes and preparing for Michigan’s elite running game.

“The fans’ energy was amazing last week,” McKinzie said. “It was really exciting, joyful to say the least. Stepping up to face Michigan, every opponent is different, but every game is important. I was watching Miami and Notre Dame last night and got chills thinking about this game. The atmosphere this weekend is going to be electric.”
