The Kid LAROI just dropped a surprise new song – “ A Cold Play “!

The 22-year-old entertainer debuted the track on Friday (September 5), after he announced it just the day before.

The Kid LAROI shows raw emotion with the track he wrote, with KBeazy producing, and seems to reference his breakup from Tate McRae earlier this year.

“I hope you know you were appreciated / Around my house, I still got up all of our pictures, baby, mm / ‘Cause I still love you, that’s how I feel at my core / Flew different states to come see you in between tour / I gave you everything I had and even more,” he sings on the first verse.

The title of the song, and the lyrics including “fix you” multiple times also seem to reference Tate doing a cover of Coldplay ‘s “Fix You” back in August dur
