LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Las Vegas-area pilots said they will sit down with county leaders over airport privatization concerns; however, department aviation officials said the claims have no merit.
On Tuesday, Jeffrey Lustick, an attorney representing the North Las Vegas Hangar Owners Group, thanked Clark County officials at a board of commissioners meeting on a discussion set to review a variety of concerns.
“I think it's a good step,” he said. “There's just too there are too many unresolved issues, and there are a lot of concerns that we need to discuss.”
Those issues include: fears of airport privatization, influence World Fuel has on gas and customer service operations, fee increases for jet parking based on sales that go World Fuel, and links between World Fuel and two county aviation o
