James Fisher-Harris has beaten former Warriors player Kirisome Auva’a to hold the record for the fastest try in NRL history after pouncing on a Daly Cherry-Evans blunder from the kick-off.
Playing in his final game for Manly at Brookvale Oval, Cherry-Evans let the ball bounce and it trickled back to Jason Saab, who slipped on his goal line and spilt the ball into the waiting hands of Fisher-Harris, who fell over the line to score within nine seconds, smashing the former record of 11.
“I don’t believe this, you are kidding me, that didn’t happen, yes it did,” Andrew Voss said on Fox League. Round 27 NRL Sep 04 7:50pm AEST FT Broncos 30 Storm 14 MATCH CENTRE *Odds are current as of 5th September 2025, 6:51pm AEST VIEW ALL SCORES NRL LIVE 40:00 Sea Eagles 1
