Happy Friday! Our next cold front is making its way through Northwest Missouri this morning and will blow through the Ozarks before noon. The front will bring in rain showers to West-Central Missouri initially before spreading farther southeast through the day.
Rain will begin in the west around 11 AM. It will begin very light and very sparse, with hit-or-miss sprinkles. Showers will expand a little across Western Missouri by 1 PM. These showers will continue spreading southeast as the day progresses.
Showers will shift into Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas overnight tonight and will linger into Saturday morning. Rain should end in Northern Arkansas by 9 AM Saturday.
Rainfall amounts will be on the lower side of ideal. Rain will be between 0.25" to 0.50", some more and some less.
