PISCATAWAY – Rutgers football’s defense had a tough time containing a mobile quarterback in Week 1.

Now here comes another in Week 2 .

Navarro ran for 93 yards on nine carries with a touchdown in the opener as Rutgers’ revamped defense, which features multiple new starters and several players new to the program altogether, struggled to keep him in the pocket. Too often he managed to get to the outside and break free.
