Powerball players will have a chance to win hundreds of millions of dollars this week.

After no winner was declared for Wednesday's draw , the $1.7 billion jackpot has rolled over to Saturday. The cash value is estimated to be $770.3 million before taxes are deducted.

The September 6 prize is the third-largest in both Powerball and U.S. lottery history, behind only the record $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot in 2022 and the $1.765 billion Powerball jackpot, which was won in 2023.

Saturday's drawing will also mark the 42nd draw in a row without a jackpot winner since the prize was last claimed in California in May.
