Katharine, Duchess of Kent — the wife of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent — has died at the age of 92.
Since the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, the Duchess had been the oldest living member of the British royal family.
Buckingham Palace announced her passing on Friday evening, stating that she “passed away peacefully,” surrounded by her family at Kensington Palace.
