Justin Obikwu says he has a lot to look forward to as his domestic and international careers step up a level.

The young striker, who joined the Coventry City academy in 2021, is currently away with Trinidad & Tobago as they start their qualification campaign for World Cup 2026.

Obikwu does so, with a first game against Curacao in the early hours of Saturday morning and a fixture against Jamaica next Wednesday, just days after agreeing another loan deal.

Since signing for the Sky Blues the 21-year-old has been on the bench on several occasions, including twice this season – but is yet to make his debut.

Instead he spent the last two campaigns on loan with Grimsby Town in League Two, scoring a combined ten goals in 38 games.
