Week-Long Construction Postponed; Drivers Advised to Plan for New Detour Dates

DADE CITY, Fla. – The planned closure of Tuskeegee Avenue at its intersection with the US 98 Bypass/US 301, originally scheduled to begin this Monday, has been postponed. The construction work will now begin a week later, on Monday, September 15, 2025 .

Officials apologize for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling. The around-the-clock closure is still expected to last for one week, with construction crews working to complete the project by approximately Sunday, September 21, 2025 .
