Brisbane star Cam Rayner is set to come under scrutiny after a double free-kick controversy in the Lions’ qualifying final loss to Geelong on Friday night.
The former No.1 draft pick kicked two goals in quick time late in the first half after receiving two set shots from the goal square, the first coming far off the ball and the second during his goal celebration.

Channel 7 commentators, football greats and fans erupted, accusing the umpires of over-officiating and Rayner of over-egging the contact.
Rayner was initially shoved in the back by Mark O’Connor then knocked over again by Zach Guthrie.
Geelong coach Chris Scott admitted there was “some frustration” in the coaches box, particularly given it robbed
