A sculpture of a bicycle on a steel beam was installed Wednesday at Missouri Southern State University, the first in a series of outdoor sculptures planned for the campus.

The oxidized metal sculpture, titled “Hey,” was installed at the front of the Dianne Mayes Student Life Center. Sculptor Russell Whiting, of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, was on hand to install it with the help of art and design department faculty, who are spearheading the project to bring sculptures to the campus. ×
