You don’t see this every year.

All five Ontario Cup finals, from girls under-13 through under-17 division, will feature a London club during the next two weeks. Four Alliance FC Mustangs entries and the U16 Dinamo Pumas from the Croatian club will kick for gold in their respective provincial championship matches at the Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre in Vaughan.

Combined, the five local teams allowed just one goal during their five semifinal tilts.

“It starts with dedicated kids,” Alliance FC technical director Andreas Nolte said. “It’s not about winning. It’s about getting the best out of each player. You see what happens with all the hard work.”

There are increased stakes at two of the age groups. The U17 and U15 finals will decide who represents Ontario at the national championship
