SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - With the first full week of college football now in the books, we have a quick recap of our weekly matchups and a preview of the games taking place this weekend around Georgia.
#4 Georgia vs Marshall - Georgia showed why they have been a top program these past few years as players stepped into new roles with no drop off at all. The Bulldogs opened the season with a 45-7 win over the Marshall Thundering Herd.
The Georgia offense was led by Junior QB Gunner Stockton, who was 14 of 24 for 190 yards and two touchdowns on the day. Stockton also led the Bulldogs' rushing attack with two touchdowns on 10 carries for 73 yards.
Georgia only allowed one score on the day, which came in the fourth quarter on a one-yard touchdown run by Junior RB Jo'Shon Barbie.
