SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) -- Thursday on their Instagram account, the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) announced director Jon M. Chu will receive the Vanguard Director Award.

The annual SCAD Savannah Film Festival, the largest university-run film festival in the world, is October 25 through November 1.

SCAD previously announced actor/singer/dancer Jennifer Lopez will receive the Virtuoso Award.
