LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Nevada DMV reported Friday morning that it is shifting its focus to serve all driver's license and ID card appointments following the August 24 cyberattack that crippled state agencies.
According to a social post, anyone with a driver's license or ID card appointment for Friday, September 5, should show up as scheduled at the office they would normally visit.
Customers who need vehicle transactions, including registration, titling, renewals, moving permits, duplicate decals, and more, are asked to use the website or kiosks. Those services are available on MyDMV.
Governor Joe Lombardo gave a promising update on Thursday that the data compromised in the cyberattack did not involve the DMV records.
