Scouting Report : Harper Creek had 316 yards of offense in a 42-0 win over Lakeview last week, all of it coming on the ground. The Beavers will need to be more balanced as it heads into Week 2 against a good Cedar Springs team. First-year Harper Creek starting quarterback Maddox McCarty only attempted three passes. Look for Harper Creek to open things up more this week. Cedar Springs, which had traditionally played out of the very competitive OK Gold Conference, is now in the River Cities Alliance for the second year and made the playoffs last year.
