FORT SMITH -- Main Street Fort Smith, in partnership with RiverBoy Foundation, has been selected as a co-recipient of the Levitt AMP Music Series grant for 2026-28, ensuring three more years of free, family-friendly live music in downtown Fort Smith.

The grant, which is a $4,000 commitment from the Levitt Foundation for each show, will allow organizers to schedule between seven and 10 shows in one season, Amanda Hager, executive director of Main Street Fort Smith, said in an email Friday. The funding for the shows ranges between $28,000-$40,000 depending on the number of shows in each series, she said.

"This is a match grant, so we will be looking for community partners -- public and private sectors -- to fund the free community music series," Hager said.
