MOSCOW, Idaho -- On Nov. 13, 2022, four University of Idaho students were stabbed to death in an off-campus house in a crime that sent shockwaves through the town of Moscow and skyrocketed to national attention.

Although the motive is still a mystery, Bryan Kohberger has pleaded guilty to the gruesome murders and will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

A new "20/20" episode, "Idaho Justice," airing Friday, Sept. 5, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC and streaming the next day on Hulu, examines the case.
