DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A 19-year-old resident of Danville was arrested on charges of home invasion and aggravated battery on Thursday.

According to the Danville police, officers responded to a report of a break-in at a home on the 400 block of Park Street on September 1, around 11:28 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a victim in need of medical attention. The victim was transported to the hospital due to injuries sustained during the incident.

Police later identified the suspect as Landyn Reardon, 19, of Danville.

Reardon was located and arrested on September 4, 2025. He has been transported to and booked into the Vermilion County Jail on preliminary charges of home invasion, aggravated battery resulting in great bodily harm, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon (
