Man accused of sexually exploiting at least 5 underage girls in Roswell, more victims possible

Roswell police said a 21-year-old man sexually exploited at least five underage girls, and they believe there may be more victims.

The investigation began in early August after a therapist discovered one of her patients was having sex with a man in exchange for drugs and alcohol.

The therapist immediately alerted the victim’s mother and Roswell police, prompting detectives to launch an investigation.

As the case developed, investigators said they identified four additional victims, all under the age of 16 and living in Roswell.

Police identified the suspect as Lorenzo Antonio Abarca, 21, of Ellenwood.

Investigators said they used social media to trace communications between Abarca and multiple underage girls.
