CLEVELAND — Lorenzo Martin, the driver accused of hitting two Cleveland Water Department employees earlier this year , has pleaded guilty to multiple charges.

According to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas court records, during a hearing on Friday, Martin retracted his previous not guilty plea and entered guilty pleas to the following charges:

2 counts of vehicular assault,

1 count of failure to stop after an accident

As a result of the plea, count 4, which was an additional charge of failing to stop after an accident, was dismissed.

Martin has been ordered to have no contact with the victims.

As part of the conviction, Martin will be subject to a mandatory period of post-release control of at least one year and up to three years. He has also been referred to the Cuyahoga County Court P
