President Donald Trump’s approval rating remains underwater across a number of issues, according to the latest Yahoo/YouGov poll.
The poll found that Trump had a 42% approval rating among registered voters, a slight decrease from the 44% who approved of how he was handling the job in July. Another 56% of registered voters said they disapproved of how Trump was handling the job, according to the poll.
The poll results, released earlier this week, showed that Trump received low approval ratings across a number of critical issues, including cost of living (34%), the economy (40%), trade and tariffs (36%), immigration (46%) and crime (47%).
Overall, just 36% of voters said the country was headed in the right direction, while 57% said it was on the wrong track.
