FAYETTEVILLE -- Experience Fayetteville's CEO was placed on paid administrative leave Friday, following five hours of deliberation by the Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion Commission.
The commission oversees Experience Fayetteville, which is the city's tourism bureau.
Elvis Moya, chairman of the Advertising and Promotion Commission, called for a special meeting Monday to be scheduled for Thursday at 2 p.m.
The commission immediately called for an executive session Thursday and invited Ryan Hauck, CEO of Experience Fayetteville, to join the meeting after about two hours of discussion.
Hauck left the meeting around 5:30 p.m.
The meeting was called back from executive session around 6 p.m. Thursday, and the commission called for a temporary suspension of the meeting until 8:30 a.m.
