Authorities are looking into the “suspicious” death of Jaqueline Barbosa Nascimento , a young influencer who went missing during a trip with new friends in Brazil this week.

Fire department rescue teams discovered the 22-year-old’s body in the Jaguara Dam on Wednesday after three days of searching, according to a translation of Brazilian outlet Metrópoles.

Nascimento had last been seen on Sunday while jet skiing with two friends in São Paulo’s Igaratá municipality.

While Nascimento is believed to have likely died from drowning , the Secretariat of Public Security said the case is being investigated as a suspicious death, reported Metrópoles. They’re reviewing security camera footage from a nearby residence to establish the facts of the case.
