After a few months of controversy and uncertainty, things finally seem to be looking up for the Foo Fighters . Earlier this year, the band made waves when former drummer Josh Freese revealed he had been unexpectedly dismissed from the group with no explanation. For a while, there was no news about what the band would do next, and fans were especially concerned because the Foo Fighters had an Asian tour booked. But on July 30, The Hollywood Reporter announced that they had recruited former Nine Inch Nails drummer, Ilan Rubin . While the Foo Fighters haven't commented on the lineup change yet, they finally posted a band photo (sort of), and it seems great things are coming.
