GASTONIA, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The Gastonia Police Department, in partnership with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Gaston County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Unit, has concluded a four-month joint operation targeting fentanyl distribution in the Gastonia area.
The investigation focused on Jalen Williams, who was identified as a primary distributor of fentanyl pills in the region. Through a series of undercover purchases and surveillance operations, investigators were able to obtain trafficking-level quantities of fentanyl directly from Williams.
