EUGENE — No. 6 Oregon looks to extend its 16-game home winning streak against Oklahoma State.

The Ducks and Cowboys open a home-and-home series on Saturday in one of only 12 games between Power Four teams this weekend.

For a series with only one prior meeting, a UO win in the 2008 Holiday Bowl, and two rosters loaded with new or inexperienced players, there suddenly was a lot worth talking about this week after the back-and-forth between Mike Gundy and Dan Lanning .

A national television audience will get introduced the week’s worth of drama, both teams, a new starting quarterback for Oklahoma State and Oregon’s collection of talent.
