LAYTON, Utah (ABC4) — A 2-year-old girl is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle at a car wash in Layton.

According to Layton Police, the toddler was flown to Primary Children's Hospital. The incident happened at the Shiny Shell car wash.

A truck with a lift was pulling out of his spot when he struck the young girl on the passenger side of his truck. The girl's mother was on scene, police confirmed.

Police said the girl was taken to a nearby medical center before being flown to the hospital.
