Caltrans reminded motorists Friday that it will perform traffic control Sunday on and around the California Incline connecting Pacific Coast Highway to Main Street in Santa Monica to accommodate a footrace.

Traffic control will take place on PCH at Main Street, Ocean Avenue and the north- and southbound on/off ramp to the California Incline between 4 a.m. and 12 p.m. for the Santa Monica Classic 5K/10K Run.

“There will be no road closures,” according to Caltrans, which will place detour signs to redirect motorists.

Anticipate delays and plan ahead, Caltrans advised.

The agency granted an “encroachment permit” for the event, according to Caltrans.
