Lila and Tim Szozda are just beginning a life of retirement and senior living, the married couple said.
“We want to kind of prepare for the future and to see what is available in case we have any needs in the future,” Mrs. Szozda said.
The pair from Perrysburg were just two of dozens of seniors and members of Maumee Senior Center looking for different resources catered to their needs during the center’s 11th annual Health Fair, which saw 40 organizations educate people about their services at the senior center on Friday.
Organizations including the Alzheimer's Association Northwest Ohio Chapter, Humana, Walker Funeral Homes and Crematory, Village Caregiving, and the Lakes of Monclova offered each attendant information as well as company paraphernalia like pens, notebooks, and candy.
