This week, a group of women who were abused by Jeffrey Epstein shared their stories on Capitol Hill and called on members of Congress to join a bipartisan effort to force the Department of Justice to release all files related to the late sex offender.

In response, Donald Trump renewed his effort to shut down the scandal that has erupted over his administration’s failure to deliver full transparency on the Epstein case as promised. In a Friday Truth Social post , Trump revived two arguments he’s been making for months: (1) dismissing the whole story as just a “Democrat Epstein Hoax,” and (2) claiming that the “Department of Justice has done its job, they have given everything requested of them.”
