A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the deaths of two women in London.

The Met Police responded to an unresponsive woman at Aylesbury Estate on March 17. Despite the best efforts of emergency workers, she was pronounced dead.

She was later identified as 53-year-old Carmenza Trujillo. An investigation was launched following a post-mortem examination which was unable to determine a cause of death.

Further enquiries led officers to arrest a 40-year-old man on suspicion of murder on April 1, although he was released under investigation as enquiries continued.

At about 7:30am on August 24, the body of a 39-year-old woman was found in High Road, Tottenham. She was pronounced dead at the scene and was identified as Sheryl Wilkins.
