A New Jersey man who is running for the Cranford township committee is going viral on social media for breakdancing up to the podium during a recent town hall meeting.

In a livestream Tuesday on Cranford TV-35, the public channel for the Township of Cranford, Will Thilly gets up to ask a question about local tax hikes.

Instead of walking up to the podium, Thilly starts dancing.

“Mr. Thilly, I started your time,” a township official says.

Thilly holds up his index finger, telling the official to hold on, and continues dancing. Some people in the room looked away, while others buried their faces in their hands.
