KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Lee's Summit Police Department (LSPD) and the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) issued a SILVER Advisory for a missing man Friday morning.

According to MSHP, 80-year-old Howard Kelley was on his way to an appointment but never arrived. He was last seen near 601 Northwest O'Brien Road in Lee's Summit at around 8:45 a.m.

Kelley's vehicle, a maroon Kia Sorento with MO license plate VCX7B, however, was last seen eastbound on 103rd Street and Mission Avenue in Leawood, Kansas.

MSHP also included that Kelley has been diagnosed with dementia.

Kelley is described as standing around 5'10" and weighs around 205 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. MSHP says he was last seen wearing a black jacket with red stitching, a black T-shirt over a pink polo shirt, black jea
