United Airlines has announced that it will revive direct flights from Chicago and Washington DC to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport starting in November, after an almost two-year hiatus. Flights from Chicago O'Hare International Airport will begin on November 1, with Washington Dulles International Airport resuming a day later. This follows United re-starting twice-daily flights to Israel from its hub at Newark Liberty International Airport back in July.
This development is part of a wider recovery in commercial flights to Israel, with several international carriers restoring services throughout 2025. Delta Air Lines resumed daily flights from New York JFK Airport earlier this week, and European giants like Air France-KLM and Lufthansa Group relaunched routes ea
