A man has been arrested in connection with a knifepoint car-jacking.

The victim was threatened with a blade before he was pulled from his car, which was stolen. It happened in Ladymoor Road, Wolverhampton, at around 8pm on May 4.

Dudley Vehicle Crime Team officers arrested a man today, Friday, September 5.

The team also detained a man following a string of vehicle thefts from areas including Amblecote, Coseley, Tipton, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Sedgley, and Bilston.

A 21-year-old man was arrested this morning on suspicion of robbery and nine counts of theft of motor vehicles between March 9 and June 5.

He remained in custody.
