ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) - A South Bend man has been arrested and charged for allegedly trafficking a woman at a hotel in Roseland.

31-year-old Kevin Brazier is facing several charges, including criminal confinement and promoting prostitution.

St. Joseph County police officers were called to the Baymont Hotel in Roseland on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 1). While they were on the way, police say they were told a woman in the lobby was crying and she said that a man would not let her leave.

After arriving at the hotel, the woman initially told officers she was fine, but police say the officers recognized indicators that something was wrong and separated her from Brazier for a private conversation.
