BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- Eight people were arrested in Assumption Parish after a months-long drug investigation called "Operation Fresh Catch."

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon said the investigation targeted drug dealers accused of distributing methamphetamine, fentanyl, Suboxone, and Adderall.

A grand jury indicted six suspects this week. Deputies arrested them Thursday night and early Friday morning. Two more suspects were also arrested on separate warrants.

Those arrested include: • Clint Adam Landry, 46, Pierre Part: distribution of methamphetamine. Bond: $100,000. • Chance Michael Rivere, 32, Pierre Part: possession with intent to distribute Adderall.
