NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tennessee has topped a list no one wants to lead.

According to a new report by WalletHub, the Volunteer State had the largest increase in the country for the number of unemployment claims filed last week compared to the previous week, with a more than 103% increase. In addition, Tennessee led the nation in its increase in unemployment claims last week compared to the same time last year with 114% more claims filed.

It comes amid the U.S. jobs report for August, which showed the market has stalled across the country.
