Hickory comedian Jon Reep was arrested Friday on multiple counts of sexual exploitation.

Jonathan David Reep, better known as Jon Reep, 53, of Hickory, is charged with nine counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, the Hickory police Department said in a news release.

On April 15, the Hickory Police Department received an Internet Crimes Against Children cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding child sexual abuse material. The account being reported in the tip was linked back to Reep, Hickory police said.
