WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - As it turns out, one size doesn’t fit all.
The Dulles State Office building in Watertown has been used by community groups for a long time. But renting space there got very expensive in the last few years, adding up to thousands of dollars for some groups.
Those groups have gone elsewhere.
The change was because the state set a one-price for all , as in all state facilities.
“At the Empire Plaza, it is vastly different from what is available in Watertown or Jefferson County. By rolling it up into a centralized location they really lose the touch and the feel of the local dynamics,” said state Assemblyman Scott Gray,
