LOS ANGELES – A man was killed in a double shooting early Friday morning.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the 300 block of W. 74th Street to reports of shots fired around 2:00 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers located two victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. According to videographers, over 30 shell casings were scattered across the crime scene.
FOX11 reported from the scene that the victims were in a group involved in a shootout with another group of men.
Both were transported to local hospital where one was pronounced deceased.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
