SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Unemployment statistics show Siouxland states faring better compared to the national average. But data from the Senate Joint Economic Committee shows a slow labor market.
With Iowa's unemployment rate at 3.7% in July, about 65,000 people were looking for a job.
The data also shows the Hawkeye State lost 7,000 non-farm jobs since May.
