ELLABELL, Ga. (WSAV) — LG Energy Solutions and Hyundai Motor Group (HL-GA) has officially released a statement after the federal raid of the Ellabell Hyundai facility Thursday.
Officials confirmed that 475 people were arrested in the multi-agency sting operation Thursday.
The raid was focused on the lithium battery cell manufacturing plant, according to the search warrant that authorized federal officers to enter the facility in Ellabell.
A HL-GA spokesperson told WSAV that they've paused construction of the battery plant.
