Two Surrey-based actors are among six co-starring in a new-to-B.C. comedy at Langley's Theatre in the Country stage.

The late-summer production of Home, I'm Darling features Hana Shiels (Judy, the wife), Kelly Thompson (Sylvia, mom) and others, Sept. 11-27.

English playwright Laura Wade's script, set in the 1950s, is hyped as "a smart, stylish and uproariously funny comedy" that asks: What happens when living the dream turns out to be trickier than it looks?

Judy has given up her job to create the perfect home life, complete with spotless kitchens, cocktail hours and immaculate vintage dresses. But as the pressure of perfection mounts, cracks begin to show, with comical consequences.
