The family of 18-year-old Ryan Hinton, who was shot and killed by police in May in East Price Hill, is calling for more accountability.

Cincinnati Police showed video of Hinton running away from a stolen car, and officers said he did have a gun. Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich announced that a Cincinnati police officer was justified in the shooting. Advertisement

The family of Hinton found that decision devastating and is calling for justice for him.

Starting on Friday, the Hinton family, along with supporters, are holding a series of events to bring awareness to the situation.

The weekend kicked off with a march and a rally. It was held at Washington Square Park in Over-the-Rhine. Then they walked over to Police Headquarters in the West End and to the Hamilton
