Spiro sophomore football player Sir Thomas is home recovering after suffering an injury against Panama that required a short hospital stay and resulted in the game ending prematurely Thursday, Sept. 4 .

Thomas sustained a helmet-to-helmet hit early in the fourth quarter before being flown to a hospital via helicopter.

Panama had a 44-30 lead at the time of the injury before the game was stopped.
