Dylan Harper, 19, suffered a partial tear of the collateral ligament in his left thumb during an offseason workout at the Spurs’ practice facility on Wednesday. Two days later, Harper's all-important shooting hand went under the knife, his official NBA debut in limbo. The team announced Harper's injury and successful surgery in a news release.
